Home- and centre-based early learning and child care for children 3 weeks to 13 years; full-time, flexible, overnight, weekend schedules accommodate as spaces allow. The programs are licensed by the Ministry of Education; not-for-profit, charitable organization established in 1985; snacks and meal provided for children based on Canada Food Guide; parents/guardians supply infant food, formula and diapers; care is provided either in our licensed centre or in the home of a child care providers who are screened by Cook's and who must successfully complete background checks with the police and Children's Aid Society; random spot checks visits are made to the home child care settings regularly by the Cook's Early Childhood Education Consultant; home settings must pass an inspection by the fire department and the guidelines of the health department before a child is placed and on an ongoing basis.
